At GPS Therapy, we can offer a wide variety of occupational therapy services. Please expand the sections below for more information on some of the areas we can assist with. If you are needing intervention or assessment in an area that is not listed below, please reach out. If GPS Therapy is not able to help you directly, we’ll be happy to help link you with someone who can.

  • Assessment

    GPS Therapy can assist individuals and their guardians/representatives with a number of occupational therapy assessments, such as (but not limited to):

    • Functional Capacity Assessments

    • Forensic assessments

    • Assistive Technology (AT) assessments

    • Home modification assessments

    • Functional cognitive assessments (e.g. memory, executive functioning)

    • Vocational rehabilitation

    • Workplace and ergonomic assessments

  • Ongoing Therapeutic Services

    GPS Therapy offers ongoing tailored occupational therapy services for individuals with varied needs and requirements. These include specific experience and skills in the following areas:

    • Forensic clients involved with Youth Justice or Department for Correctional Services

    • Individuals living with a disability (NDIS)

    • Catastrophic injuries (MVA / traumatic brain injuries, amputee, spinal cord injuries)

    • Return-to-work and vocational rehabilitation

    • Department for Veterans Affairs (DVA)

    • Marginalised and vulnerable communities (Homeless or at risk of homelessness, individuals under Department for Child Protection)

    • Individuals with specific cultural needs and/or preferences (First Nations / Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people, refugee / new arrivals, other CALD communities)

    • Members of LGBTIQA+ communities
